Yes, we offer a lay-by plan and we think it's quiet unique. Why unique you may ask. Because we feel it's not offered by many other retailers. It's a convenient way to make Payments without having to use the credit-card and we are flexible in the way we approach our lay-by sales. We have a few basic rules relating to lay-by sales but at the same time offer generous flexibility. Life is full of unexpected little surprises that at times can stretch our pockets to the limit. When this happens just let us know that you may miss one payment and we will understand and pro-long your lay-by term by a short period.
** Please note: ** When we experience a fluctuating financial market, be sure to confirm pricing prior to paying a deposit! This industry is very much driven by the US Dollar. When the Australian Dollar decreases in value against the US Dollar, the large wholesalers of computer components almost immediately increase their prices without notice to the retailer. Unfortunately we have no choice but to pass this on to the consumer. However, once the initial deposit is paid on the lay-by, price-changes are no longer applicable and the agreed invoice-balance stands firm
Purchasing via Lay-by: All lay-bys require a minimum 10% deposit which falls due immediately, then a minimum 5% of the total purchase price in regular weekly payments. For example: Computer cost is $1000. Deposit minimum is 10%, which is $100. Weekly payments are a minimum 5% of the total purchase price, which is $50. These payment commence within one week of initial deposit payment.
Making higher payments than the required minimum is highly recommended and shortens the term.
When the item is fully paid for, the item will be shipped promptly, usually the next day
Cancellations of any lay-by attracts a 10% fee of the total purchase price within the first
month of purchase and an extra 5% fee of the total purchase price for each subsequent month which has lapsed prior to cancellation. This is to cover advertising, administration and
depreciation of goods. This fee will be deducted from any previous payments submitted.
If no payment or correspondence received for one month during the term, the lay-by is treated as a cancellation.
All payments are to be made by direct deposit and require the customer's surname as payment reference.
Computers and Laptops are shipped by insured
courier. All pricing is inclusive of GST and are in Australian dollars. A Tax-Invoice is supplied with every sale.
